I have lived all over this country and met people from many diverse backgrounds. I have deployed with them, gone to school with them, laughed with them, and listened to them. Each of them expressed a desire to be heard, to be treated fairly, and to have the law apply to them in the same way it is applied to others. As your circuit court judge, I have taken an oath to apply the law equally, as written, without an agenda. As a retired Navy officer, I took an oath on many occasions to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States. We are a nation of laws, and I promise to make rulings based on those laws and the evidence before me. The people of this great State deserve no less.
